Biology 2010
This year, in Honors Biology I hope that we will learn about Biology's uses in the modern world, and about evolution. It was clear from reading the textbook that Biology will become essential in the future. Genetic Engineering and AIDS are pressing issues, as are DNA patenting and Biological Weapons. How will these issues affect us in years to come? What can we do to combat their negative effects? Evolution is, in my opinion, a fascinating topic. Why did certain species evolve to be the way they are today? How will climate change affect evolution in the future? Biology is an important tool to have at your disposal. In this class I think that technology will be essential. The blogs will enable us to compare data and information with ease. Furthermore, the comments will allow us to talk about the day's lesson or an upcoming test. Overall, the technological aspect of this year will make the class more accessible. My goal for the year is to have a good time and learn as much about Biology as possible!
